2012-2013 Executive Committees


The Kuwait Textile Arts Association under the auspices of Al Sadu House is a multicultural nonprofit organization. It was established under the patronage of Sheikha Altaf Al Salem Al Sabah in October 1994 for promoting the knowledge and skills of textile related arts in Kuwait and the Gulf region.

Membership benefits include monthly meetings featuring demonstrations.

Presentations and lectures given by experts.

Membership of the special interest groups with demonstrations practical work and challenges.

There is access to an ever widening range of classes at beginner, intermediate and advanced levels.

KTAA also sponsor an annual exhibition of members textile work, a bazaar and other activities. Monthly Meetings.

This season officially commences in October the general meetings are held every 2nd Tuesday of the month until the season ends in June.

All meetings are at Sadu House on the corner of the National Museum, Arabian Gulf Street, Kuwait City. Doors open at 6.30 for a 7pm start. Guests and visitors are welcome at all meetings.

Membership

Membership Fee KD 15.
Membership is from: October 2012 to the end of August 2013.
Your membership fee entitles you to:
Free admission to monthly lectures.
A monthly updates of events.
Discounted fees for workshops.
Membership of the Q8 Quilt group.
. Membership of the Q8 Fibre Arts Group.
Access to borrow books from KTAA library.
